Over 100 family, friends, dignitaries, and elected officials were on hand to dedicate England Airpark's new industrial road to former community leader, businessman, philanthropist and England Authority board member H.K. Stanley. Mr. Mike Johnson, Chairman of the England Authority, lead a program of stellar speakers: Congressman Ralph Abraham; Mr. Richard Bushnell, Vice-Chair of the England Authority; Woodworth Mayor David Butler and McNary Mayor Don Parker.

The new industrial road now officially "H.K. Stanley Drive" , is a $3.3 million dollar improvement with new water, sewer, and gas lines connecting Airbase Road to Frank Andrews Blvd. The new road is phase 1 of a consolidated rental car maintenance facility project. Phase 2, which is expected to be approximately $3 million, is set to begin construction summer of 2017. It also opens up and connects 2 additional commercial properties at the Airpark for development which includes an 8 acre industrial site and a 43 acre Louisiana Economic Development Certified site with rail access.

Building for the future. Jobs for the present. England Airpark is on the move!
