Civil Air Patrol

The Louisiana Wing of the Civil Air Patrol is composed of hundreds of civilian volunteers who donate their time and skills to perform missions for America. Formed just prior to World War II, Civil Air Patrol is the Official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. The Louisiana Wing is the 25th largest Wing within CAP, having nearly 600 members. CAP divides its missions into three areas: Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs. The Cenla Composite Squadron is located at England Airpark.
