England Airpark Fire Department
Mission Statement:
The mission of the England Airpark Fire Department is to provide the highest quality protection to preserve lives and property to the resident, visitors, and tenants of the England Airpark / Alexandria International Airport. Through training, education, fire prevention, innovative services, and respect for our residents, visitors, and tenants – we will accomplish this mission. We strive to serve as positive role models though community involvement and activities.
About the Department
The England Airpark Fire Department consists of 24 career firefighters. The department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The airpark firefighters are unique in the fire service as they are cross trained to not only to handle structural emergencies, but have the duel responsibility of being Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters – covering emergencies on the airfield.

- Apparatus and Equipment Maintenance and Testing
- Building Pre-Plans
- Building Safety Inspections
- Emergency Medical Services (non transporting)
- Fire Hydrant Testing
- Fire Prevention Programs
- Fire Station Tours
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Fire Suppression
- Hazardous Material Response
- Hose Testing
- Mutual Aid Participation with other areas departments
- Rescue Operations
